Drop in class 730-830pm, Wednesdays in July to Manitou Park in Naramata for a Poi Spinning group event.
There will be group instruction as well as lots of one on one to help you learn new move and get more comfortable with this flow art.
Poi Spinning is a rhythmic practice rooted in Māori tradition that supports mindfulness, creativity, and brain-body integration.
Using soft, fabric-weighted poi, participants of all ages (usually 8+ is a good age to start) and levels are invited to spin, play, and move with intention.
(Poi provided — no equipment needed, but bring your own poi if you have it).
There is an option for donation style payment, so if you can only stay for half, then pay according to what feels right for you!
