PEMF THERAPY
OVERVIEW of PEMF
(Pulsing Electro-Magnetic Field) Therapy:
We humans, live much of our lives indoors, insulated from direct contact with the Earth and its natural electromagnetic environment.
Every cell in the body naturally requires an electrical and magnetic charge, similar to a battery to operate. This charge is essential for functions like nutrient exchange, waste removal, cellular communication, cellular repair, and energy production. When that charge is depleted or less efficient, cellular function can become impaired.
PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy uses low-frequency electromagnetic pulses—to support the body’s natural celluar processes. These fields are designed to be in a similar range to naturally occurring environmental frequencies to help support our cell’s optimal functioning.
PEMF is not a medical treatment or cure, but a supportive modality that may help promote more efficient cellular function, energy production, and overall regulation within the body.

Book a 1 Hour PEMF Session - $70 (+gst)
To book an appointment with Heidi Rasmussen, begin with the initial intake form to assess if we will be a good fit working together with PEMF therapy.
-
Each session begins with a brief assessment to understand your main areas of concern and goals.
Your first session includes approximately 35 minutes on the PEMF machine, allowing your body to gently adjust to the therapy. Session length may increase in future visits based on your comfort and response.
We typically focus on one primary concern and one secondary area, so the session stays targeted and effective.
-
PEMF is generally well tolerated. Some people may experience temporary responses as the body adjusts, including:
Changes in bowel movements, urine, sweat, or breath
Shifts in energy levels (fatigue or increased energy)
Mild muscle or joint discomfort
These effects are typically short-lived and part of the body’s natural adjustment process.
PEMF is not offered to individuals who:
Have a pacemaker or implanted electronic device
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Are under 18 years of age
Have recently experienced a stroke
If you have any medical conditions or concerns, please discuss them prior to your session.
-
PEMF is commonly used as a supportive therapy for:
Stress and nervous system regulation
Helps promote a calmer, more balanced statePain and inflammation support
Muscles, joints, and general discomfortRecovery and healing
Supporting the body after physical strain or injuryCirculation support
Encouraging healthy blood flowEnergy and fatigue
Supporting cellular energy productionSleep support
Helping the body settle into deeper restGeneral wellness and balance
Supporting overall cellular function and regulation
PEMF is not a medical treatment, but a supportive modality that works with the body’s natural electrical and magnetic processes.

We measure the entire electromagnetic spectrum of the universe in terms of frequency, using Hertz (Hz).
The Earth naturally emits extremely low-frequency electromagnetic activity. This activity sits within roughly the 0–30 Hz range, with the most well-known resonance—the Schumann resonance—around 7.83 Hz.
PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy also operates in the extremely low-frequency range. Many PEMF devices, especially higher-intensity systems, work within approximately 0–50 Hz, using controlled, pulsed electromagnetic fields to support the body’s natural electrical and magnetic processes.
In contrast, most modern technologies operate at much higher frequencies:
Household electricity (North America): ~60 Hz
Wi-Fi: ~2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
Cell phones and towers: ~600 MHz to 3.5 GHz, and higher (including 24 GHz+ for some 5G systems)
So while we are always surrounded by electromagnetic fields, the difference lies in frequency, intensity, and purpose:
Earth & PEMF: low-frequency, foundational, and biologically relevant ranges
Modern EMFs: higher-frequency, constant, and designed for communication
PEMF is not a medical treatment, but a supportive modality that works with the body’s natural electrical and magnetic functions to help support cellular activity and regulation.
